The Last two days of Kids Clubs are done.
We had a ball at Prea Romeas signing songs, the bible story (even had a 6ft snake in it), craft bees and snakes and lots and lots of fun. Some of the team then headed out to visit people within the village and deliver food parcels. The poor really do have tough lives here, trying to just provide the basics is a huge struggle.
We also spend time at Project Khmer Hope at an Anglican School. The children were so excited about playing games and enjoyed all the activities the team did with them. We left them with lots of goodies for the children who live within their school complex.
Mark and I can’t speak highly enough about the team, they worked so hard, tried new things (like chicken toes, well perhaps no
t the chicken toes, they could not stomach them)!!! And made the whole two weeks so much fun. They deserve a good rest now before starting the long journey home. Looks like most of them are making noises about coming back, I do hope they do, it would be a honour for us to have them.
God bless and HUGE thanks to all who’ve made this trip possible and such as success…
