Greetings from a warm and humid Phnom Penh. It’s a pleasure to say that I’m not missing the rain back home; 30oC is very nice, thank you!!
As many of you know I’ve traveled out two days early to allow me to represent Eggshell Cambodia and the bi-annual Chab Dai conference. Chab Dai seeks to raise the standards of advocacy, prevention and care utilized by individuals, organizations, businesses, researchers and government agencies in addressing human trafficking and exploitation. To quote their website; “Such efforts should be done pro-actively rather than re-actively. By collaborating with organizations and stakeholders that hold similar goals in addressing exploitation”. This ethos was clearly seen in a very informative, useful and encouraging day-one of the conference. With speakers from Government, subject matter experts and member organisations the day has been an invaluable one– tomorrow’s agenda looks even more exciting and informative. Thanks and blessings to all in Chab Dai for the invitation to attend. Looking forward to a great day two!
Please pray for the contacts made and connections renewed that God’s purposes will unfold. Please also pray for safe travels for Liz and the team as they following me out on Friday/Saturday.
Cheers and God bless, Mark…
