13th August 2026 By Mark

This month was special as our family was out with us.  We had a wonderful time going to the Aquarium, seeing the landmine rats, eating and swimming (Christian learnt how to swim without his arm bands, his grandpa and I are so proud of him.  Faith also learnt how to jump into the pool (which is more than I can do)!

Our friend Sopheap got a birthday cake made for our visit to her restaurant.  Mark’s birthday is the 2nd of August and Christian’s is the 3rd.  It was the first time we got to celebrate both birthdays in the same country.

Our children are all good except for one his mother and him were in a serious accident when a drunk driver ploughed into them at the side of the road.  We praise God that they are both home and recovering well.

The children are learning lots of new things and Sarak is teaching them safe practices using puppets, the children love it.

Sarak has been settling in and improving forms and practices within day care.  He is doing a great job; we are so thankful for him.

Mark and I are preparing to visit Northern Ireland to see family and do some speaking engagements – here are our engagements just in case you want to join us for any or all of these engagements:

Sunday 13th Sept. St.Johns, Orangefield – 11.00am

Sunday 20th Sept. Ballyhenry Presbyterian – 11.00am

Monday 21st Sept. St Johns, Orangefield. AGM – 7.30pm

Wednesday 23rd Sept. Carrowdore and Millisle, Woburn Hall – 7.30pm

Thursday 24th Sept. Larne Methodist – 7.00pm

Saturday 26th Sept. Roger Hamill, Album Launch, Willowfield PC – TBC

While doing this month’s food giveaways I met a new baby (two months old) – 26 family members live in two small rooms, she makes it 27.   She is being well cared for but the family need help to find work etc., so maybe we will assess her soon for place in day care.  She is a wee cutie.

God’s blessings until next time…

Love Liz and Mark
